About Me

Alicia Gonzales headshot 2016Alicia Gonzales is a broadcast reporter for Cronkite News. She is a Junior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and is earning her broadcast journalism degree through Barrett, the Honors College.

She has served as a breaking news reporter for the Arizona Republic and videographer for various Arizona State University media outlets. She is currently a Community Assistant for ASU’s downtown residential community, Taylor Place. She is also the Student Engagement Assistant in the downtown Barrett Office.

She loves her work, and plans to finish her Master’s degree by 2019. Although she’s not set on a specific subject, she hopes to report on crime, education, or healthcare.
